LIFE OF AN AVERAGE TEENAGER
life of an average teenager is fun-filled.He/she is allowed to hang out with friends and enjoy his life thoroughly. But he/she has to take care that he doesn't break the trust of his/her parents. He/she should also be responsible about his/her studies.
CHORES WE MUST DO
ReplyDelete1. First of all, we all are required to study properly and be responsible.
2. We all are required to lend a helping hand to the parents in household chores and do activities like watering plants, bringing things from the market, helping in Sunday cooking.
3. We also should help whenever there is a gathering.
4. We should also keep our room and cupboard neat and tidy.
5. We should polish our school shoes every night.
6. We should also start to learn how to take care of our health.
Like all other families, an Indian family is also filled with affection, warmth and love for the members. I live in a nuclear family with my father and mother and I do not have any brothers and sisters. Both my parents are working as teachers. We live in a flat which has a small balcony where I love to keep potted plants and taking care of these plants is my responsibility which I really love to do. Since both my parents are working so most of the time they are busy and hence I often get bored. But even in their busy schedule my parents so make sure to devote some quality time with me. My mom is a great cook and often on weekends she makes delicacies. We travel once or twice a year. We do not have any pets.
ReplyDeleteIn India, being a teenager not only means freedom and liberty but it also means shouldering responsibility of your family, school and country. In India the life of a teenager differs from home to home. Well, in my home I being a teenager should study well and be and obedient person. The major decisions of my life our taken by my parents. For the bond of a parent and teenager to be healthy they must trust and have faith on each other. Similarly in my family, I have a healthy relation with my parents as I share every bit of my life with them and they also trust and have faith on me.
Since teenage is an age to develop and have a share in the responsibilities. So even in my family, there are some chores which must be done like keeping the environment of the home neat and tidy, being a helping hand in the kitchen for your mom, taking care of plants, helping to buy groceries and placing them in the kitchen.
There are few moral values which I as a teenager am expected to follow:
We must have respect for all.
We must be kind and caring and be a helping hand for the needy.
We should have a positive attitude if we are corrected and advised to grow spiritually.
We should be grateful to our parents for their love and concern they have for us.
My rights as a teenager are as follows:
Right to be loved and accepted.
Right to be appreciated and acknowledged for my little efforts.
Right to education and to choose my career.
Right to live in a healthy and morally sound atmosphere.
Right to express my feelings.
This is a well said proverb : ‘An idle mind is a devil’s workshop.’ Teenage is a time where the mind is developing and it is easy to knowingly or unknowingly get indulged and involved in doing wrong things. So to put this mind for a healthy use one must develop some hobbies and activities to do in their leisure time. My hobbies include reading books, listening to music as it relaxes from the tensions of life, sometimes singing, and I also love to draw. So in all I am a creative person.
On the whole, the life of a teenager is both sweet and sour!
"India"...India is a country where diverse religions and cultures are followed. There are Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Parsi Communities, etc. Every has its own ways of worshipping God, living and even dressing. But some of the things are common in all the communities like an overall living structure. An Indian family, just like any other family cares for each other, longs for each other and loves each other. Well I think, enough of introduction, so, lets come to my family. My house is a three-storeyed building with 1 kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 1 drawing room. Its very sad to tell that neither there is a park in front of my house nor I have a garden...:( My family consists of 4 members. My caring mother, my loving father, my adorable grandmother, my sweet sister and ofcourse me! We have lots of affection for each other and care for each other. Like the other most families in India, my father works as a businessman and my mother is a homemaker...really she is! My sister studies in 9th grade, I in 8th and my grandmother is very fond of worship of God and offering songs and prayers to them. She was once a teacher too. My mother makes delicious food everyday which I love to eat. My sister is very caring and helpful and helps me in my school work. She is a great artist too...! My father fulfills my every demand. Well, I think that I being a teenager have some responsibilities. They are-
ReplyDeleteRESPONSIBILITIES-
1. To remember and understand our responsibilities and abide by them.
2.Not to break the trust of our parents.
3.Study and not get distracted by the other children.
4.Honesty should be our main principle.
ROLE- Teenagers have a great role to play. They are sometimes the one who solve disputes between the family members but can also be the reason of dispute. We should not be carried away by idle thoughts and become and independent, trustful and wise child.
CHORES WE MUST DO-
1. Doing basic work such as watering the plants.
2. Minor household work like dusting, grocery shopping, etc.
3. Helping our parents by doing small little work such as washing the vegetables, washing fruits, etc.
4.Keeping our rooms clean, neat and tidy.
5. Helping the parents when guests come to our place, etc.
PRIVILEGES-
1.Freedom to go out with friends.
2.Freedom to explain our point.
3.Right to choose our ambition.
THINGS I DO IN SPARE TIME-
1.Sitting on Computer. Playing games on computer, surfing the net and how can I forget- "collaborating".
2.Listening to my favourite melodies and music.
3.My favourite past time- STUDYING.
4.Watching TV shows and programmes suited for my age.
5.Cleaning my room and cupboard because it is always messy.
So, in total, the life of an average teenager is nice.We are allowed to be a bit independent and take responsibilities on our own.It is a bit sad while a bit happy. It is a combination of emotions and work. So, that was all...I love being a teenager and becoming self-dependent. At last a beautiful quote on life-
"Life is like an hourglass. Eventually everything hits the bottom and all you have to do is wait it out until someone comes along and turns it around"
"Other Things May Change Us But We Start And End With A Family".
ReplyDeleteI personally feel this is very true.Hello friends, my name is Chirag Chawla.I live with my parents and have one younger brother and one elder sister.I live in a double-storey home.It has a big compound where I play soccer.I love playing it.My family really loves me.My father runs his own business and my mother is a housewife. We spend great quality time together while eating dinner.Me and my father share a healthy relationship and I tell him almost all my secrets.
I believe that being a teenager is the best part of someone's life.
It is during this age that we learn how tough life is and how should we face it.We learn how we can cope with our problems. We come to know that we have to take a few responsibilities to achieve something in our life.
As "TEENAGERS" me and my sister play an important role in our family. We sometimes resolve the arguments of our parents(I should say most of the times).Every teenager serves as a helping hand in his or her family.
Their are some chores which I need to follow.
1)I have to keep my room neat and tidy.(This is the most important one and this is the one which I don't follow.)
2)I have to go and bring milk everyday from the market.
3)When some relatives come in my house its my duty to entertain them.
4)I am expected to show respect towards everyone maybe elder or younger.
During all this hectic routine of mine,I still somehow manage to take out some time for myself.I spend my leisure time in seeing football videos and I try to imitate them at my home.I love listening to music and i like to read novels especially at night.
I am given certain privileges but on a condition that I have to be in my limits.
1)I give various advises on matter regarding the family issues.
2)I am given sufficient amount of pocket money to hang out with friends and have fun.
3)I have the liberty to choose as to what I have to pursue my career as.
Inspite of all these privileges the thing that matters to me the most is my parents trust which I will never break.
"Life of a Teenager"
The life of every teenager is special and he can mould it in any form as he likes and can add different colours to his life with the help of his family members. The only thing a teenager needs to take care of is that he doesn't fall into any bad company and bring a bad name to his family.
